Anabela Dias |
Anabela Dias studied Visual Arts at Escola Artística Soares dos Reis where she began her contact with various areas of the artistic field, however, it was product design that sparked her most interest. In 2007 he graduated in Industrial Design and began participating in competitions, both national and international, from which he received 2 prizes. |
Since 2008, she has been at Topázio as the Product Designer responsible for designing tableware, decoration and jewelry. Several of his pieces were present at fairs and exhibitions around the world, such as New York, Milan, Paris or Tokyo. In 2017, he had a driving and active role in the creation of a new brand belonging to Topázio - Citrino - focused on brass decoration pieces. Specialist in thinking about silver and brass, she is a designer inspired by shapes and textures who dedicates her time to designing new concepts for working with metal and its marriage with other materials, transforming them into pieces that reflect her language and mastery of those who execute them. |
Having had a 16-year connection with the brand, its history is something that I have always valued and admired. As such, my creative process was based on the brand's lifeline, its cycles of transformation and growth, in a deconstructed representation of Topázio's tree of life, with its 15 decades that span 3 centuries of internal and global history. |
